Maestro Artist Management, in partnership with Stage Russia HD, MAVO Cinema-Theatre and Gersher Theatre, opens it’s inaugural project in Israel with its live filmed production of the Vakhtangov Academic Theatre’s magical play Eugene Onegin, a newly reimagined version of the  Alexander Pushkin’s famous poem created and directed by renowned director, Rimas Tuminas. The screening will be followed by the Meet-the-Director Q&A, when public will have the unique opportunity to discuss the play with the legendary Rimas Tuminas.

Eugene Onegin has often been referred to as an encyclopedia of 19th century Russian life. Tuminas’ production unfolds in the memory and imagination of Pushkin’s characters. The images are split between past and present, between reality and imagination.

The screening and Q&A will be conducted in Russian with English and Hebrew subtitles/translation.
